Terms for YouTube moderation

CommentCare's general terms describe account use and your responsibilities. YouTube moderation is currently free of charge for accounts granted access by CommentCare. It is operated by Theodor Conrad Borth, Zehenthofgasse 37, 1190 Vienna, Austria.

Channel authorization

Connect only a YouTube channel you own or are authorized to manage. Google asks you to grant permission before CommentCare reads channel and comment information. You can disconnect in CommentCare or revoke authorization through your Google Account at any time.

Comment moderation

CommentCare checks the authorized channel periodically and shows AI suggestions for review. It does not automatically reject comments. If you explicitly choose to hide a comment, CommentCare asks the YouTube API to reject it. This may also hide its replies and may not be reversible. AI suggestions can be wrong and CommentCare does not guarantee that all unwanted comments are detected. You remain responsible for the actions you choose and for giving commenters any notice required for your channel.
